Senior Manager, AI Engineering

📋 Description

• Take charge of two critically important product surfaces within our platform: the AI-Native Intelligence Dashboard and Payments & Monetization.

• Lead a team of senior engineers, establish the technical direction, and deliver AI-powered features that customers can experience, evaluate, and measure.

• Enhance your impact by guiding, mentoring, and developing Engineering Managers and senior engineers.

• Be accountable for the execution outcomes across various AI engineering teams.

• Advocate for an AI First approach in engineering practices.

• Embrace Change Agility by steering teams through the dynamic landscape of AI technologies.

• Utilize First Principles Problem Solving to tackle intricate AI and product challenges.

• Employ Data-Driven Decision Making to evaluate system performance.

• Work collaboratively across departments with Product, Design, Data, Security Research, and other Engineering leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing product engineering teams, particularly those delivering AI-driven or data-intensive solutions.

• Proven track record in leading teams with complex interdependencies among engineering, product, and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in developing and mentoring Engineering Managers.

• A robust technical foundation in modern software systems that support AI-enabled products.

• Experience in building or scaling applied AI systems in live production settings (preferred).

• Knowledge of human-in-the-loop, agentic, or automation-driven workflows (preferred).

• A background in fintech, payments, or monetization systems (preferred).

• Familiarity with technologies in HackerOne’s core stack, such as PostgreSQL, Rails, GraphQL, Apollo, and React (preferred).
