This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +2 more states.
• Develop and uphold AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operational models.
• Manage AI systems throughout their entire lifecycle, which encompasses intake, risk classification, approval, monitoring, and retirement.
• Ensure alignment of AI governance with organizational security and risk frameworks.
• Integrate security, privacy, and ethical considerations into AI governance from the outset.
• Supervise the processes for identifying, assessing, treating, and accepting AI and security risks.
• Assist with internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and assurance activities pertaining to AI and security governance.
• Facilitate AI governance forums, councils, and risk review boards.
• Establish governance metrics, KPIs, and maturity indicators.
• Promote the continuous enhancement of governance practices in response to emerging AI and security risks.
• Oversee human resource activities, such as hiring, coaching, scheduling, terminating, training, motivating, recognizing achievements, and evaluating performance.
• Collaborate with various functions, including business, technology, security, privacy, legal, and compliance.
• Transform risk, regulatory, and ethical requirements into governance frameworks, decision-making structures, and operational models.
• Significant experience in program governance, risk management, security, privacy, or technology governance.
• Previous experience collaborating with enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams.
• Active involvement in governance, risk, compliance, security, or AI oversight initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or equivalent experience.
• Formal education or proven expertise in governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance principles.
• Awareness of AI lifecycle risks, including bias, transparency, explainability, security, and resilience.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity governance frameworks and control models.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment and standards that impact AI and security governance.
