Senior Manager – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee our newly established AI team consisting of around 5 engineers.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.

• Ensure that AI/ML algorithms fulfill performance standards.

• Guarantee that the data lake satisfies both internal and external requirements.

• Promote excellence in agentic AI across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and sustain a U.S. personnel security clearance.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience (7+ years) as a Software Engineering Manager or AI Manager in a dynamic software development environment.

• Hands-on, current experience with agentic AI technology.

• Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based software services.

• Experience in deploying software services to U.S. High Side networks.

• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.

• Experience with large-scale distributed data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark).

• Solid grasp of Agile and DevOps principles.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage, lead, and mentor a team effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Willingness to be on-call outside of standard business hours during critical escalations.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance.
