
Senior Manager – Affinity Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and engage in the acquisition, retention, and RFQ productivity of affinity partners to foster the net growth of trust membership.
• Build and sustain relationships with executive leadership from UST’s leading affinity partners and other national figures who influence the nonprofit sector.
• Act as the company’s representative to clients, serving as their spokesperson within the organization for these groups.
• Identify key business development opportunities to create new affinity accounts and manage the business processes from proposal to contract execution.
• Promote UST’s brand and boost market share by attending industry events and conferences.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create tailored proposals, presentations, business cases, and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in partnership development, business development, account management, association management, nonprofit engagement, strategic alliances, or similar relationship-oriented roles.
• Proven track record in developing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that yield measurable business growth and retention results.
• Established ability to build credibility and influence executive-level stakeholders, including association leaders, nonprofit executives, trustees, boards, and senior business leaders.
• Experience in crafting and implementing growth strategies that align partner objectives with organizational aims.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess performance metrics, recognize trends, and convert data into actionable business insights.
• Experience in producing executive presentations, dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI scorecards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, data management systems, and reporting tools.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
