Senior Manager, Affiliate Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete affiliate program, encompassing strategy, partner recruitment, commission structuring, and performance enhancement.

• Spearhead the development of the affiliate channel in response to AI-driven search and agentic commerce, creating partnership strategies that boost brand visibility across traditional search engines, answer engines, AI assistants, and emerging shopping platforms.

• Oversee the relationship with our affiliate agency partner.

• Manage connections with affiliate networks (such as Impact, Rakuten, ShareASale, CJ) and key individual publisher/media partners.

• Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate and content partners that align with Caraway's brand and target audience.

• Nurture and manage relationships with commerce editors, affiliate publishers, and editorial teams to enhance Caraway’s presence in product roundups, gift guides, seasonal moments, and evergreen commerce content that generates long-term affiliate revenue.

• Collaborate closely with Caraway’s Brand Marketing team and external PR agency to synchronize affiliate opportunities with product launches, campaigns, earned media, seasonal events, and broader brand storytelling.

• Create and proactively pitch compelling product narratives, exclusive offers, and editorial opportunities to commerce publishers, merging a PR mindset with performance marketing to secure impactful affiliate placements.

• Work closely with the Influencer team to establish a seamless connection between creator partnerships and affiliate/commission-based programs.

• Establish and manage commission tiers, incentive structures, and promotional calendars to drive performance.

• Analyze program performance (traffic, conversion, AOV, ROAS, incrementality) and report on KPIs to leadership.

• Collaborate with Paid Media, Content, and Creative teams to ensure affiliate partners have the necessary assets and offers.

• Maintain a comprehensive view of the customer journey: understanding how affiliate and publisher interactions influence awareness, consideration, and conversion, to inform the program's presence.

• Keep abreast of competitive and industry trends to ensure Caraway's Affiliate program remains best-in-class.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or performance marketing, preferably in DTC/e-commerce.

• Experience managing affiliate networks and platforms (Impact, Rakuten, ShareASale, CJ, or similar).

• A background in partnerships, PR, or communications, with a strong sense of storytelling and understanding of what resonates with editors and publishers.

• Strong analytical abilities; comfortable working with spreadsheets/dashboards to monitor performance and identify new opportunities.

• Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.

• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and bringing structure to a developing program.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with influencer, content, or creative teams is a plus.

• An enthusiasm for home, cooking, and non-toxic lifestyle brands would be an added advantage.
