📋 Description

• Develop innovative technology leveraging advancements in deep learning and machine learning to enhance personalization on Pinterest.

• Collaborate with various teams across Pinterest to test and refine machine learning models for Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.

• Employ data-driven approaches and utilize Pinterest’s data to enhance candidate retrieval processes.

• Operate in a dynamic environment characterized by rapid experimentation and product launches.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in recommendation systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience implementing machine learning techniques, including user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search, ranking, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, or graph representation learning.

• Practical, end-to-end experience in constructing data processing pipelines, large-scale machine learning systems, and utilizing big data technologies such as Hadoop/Spark.

• A degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a closely related discipline.

• Publications in leading machine learning conferences (preferred).

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants like Cursor, Copilot, Codex, or similar tools (preferred).

• Understanding of LLM-based productivity tools for documentation search, experiment analysis, SQL/data exploration, and enhancing engineering workflows (preferred).

• Proficiency in scalable real-time systems that process streaming data (preferred).

• An MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Statistics, Information Sciences, a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
