Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable Machine Learning models tailored for advertising intelligence and forecasting systems.

• Analyze extensive historical and real-time datasets to enhance forecasting accuracy and monetization strategies.

• Construct and maintain distributed data processing pipelines utilizing Spark and associated Big Data technologies.

• Create production-ready ML solutions using Python within the AWS cloud environment.

• Research, assess, and implement Machine Learning algorithms that are appropriate for high-load AdTech settings.

• Enhance model performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and remote engineering teams to deliver comprehensive ML solutions.

• Contribute to decisions regarding ML architecture, experimentation methodologies, and engineering best practices.

• Monitor, validate, and optimize the quality of ML models and forecasting performance in live environments.

• Generate technical documentation related to ML pipelines, models, and distributed systems.

• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical development within the team.

• Foster innovation in Machine Learning and AdTech technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning and Big Data engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience in implementing machine learning algorithms with Python.

• Demonstrated experience with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed data processing.

• Familiarity with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed or mission-critical systems.

• A solid grasp of software engineering principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and take ownership of complex technical solutions.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• Experience with Golang is a plus.

• Background in AdTech, online advertising, or media platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with forecasting systems or recommendation engines is a plus.

• Experience in optimizing ML models for large-scale production environments is a plus.
