This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and enhance features for deep learning models, utilizing extensive customer and behavioral datasets.
• Apply model architecture modifications based on insights from recent academic literature (e.g., research from NeurIPS and similar conferences).
• Work collaboratively with client teams to grasp business contexts and convert requirements into technical implementations.
• Improve model training pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Record methods, discoveries, and technical choices for knowledge sharing among teams.
• Engage in code reviews and support engineering best practices.
• Strong expertise in a deep learning framework (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow).
• Practical experience in feature engineering for predictive models.
• Robust understanding of machine learning principles (supervised learning, neural network architectures, optimization).
• Capability to read, comprehend, and apply techniques from ML research publications.
• Proficiency in Python within a data science/ML environment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and adapting to new tools.
