Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance machine learning models across various solutions, including asset generation and capture, render enhancement, scene intelligence, agentic design workflows, and intuitive design interactions.

• Explore and implement methodologies from diverse AI research domains, such as diffusion, super-resolution, conditioned generation, along with neural and differentiable rendering, to empower artists.

• Assess, integrate, and manage third-party foundation models to expedite feature development and deployment.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers and contribute to the team's collective knowledge and expertise in machine learning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the ML Product Manager to establish product requirements and define the scope for delivering solutions to product teams.

• Work closely with our MLOps Engineer to create and sustain pipelines for distributed training, inference optimization/quantization/serving, experiment tracking, model versioning & validation, and deployment to the cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Implement suitable model evaluation tests, data curation procedures, and maintain awareness of dataset rights, along with responsible AI/governance practices.

• Stay informed and share insights on the latest advancements in machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and 3D visualization, while applying innovative techniques to enhance our solutions.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality code and documentation, adhering to best practices in software development and machine learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

• Strong expertise in one or more relevant domains, including generative AI/foundation models, diffusion, NLP/LLMs, 3D computer graphics, geometry processing, asset generation, and scene understanding.

• Proficient in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch is essential.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as C++, C#, and TypeScript, as well as MLOps systems like MLFlow and RunPod, is encouraged.

• A Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (or demonstrable equivalent) is strongly preferred.
