Senior Machine Learning Engineer – AI Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Serve as a solution authority across various ML domains, including evaluations, training, inference, data pipelines, labeling, and optimization.

• Collaborate directly with product teams as a reliable partner, assisting them in overcoming technical challenges and arriving at effective solutions.

• Offer expert advice on platform capabilities, guiding teams to understand what is achievable and the most efficient ways to reach those goals.

• Create blueprints, frameworks, and established pathways that enable other teams to adopt proven strategies and expedite their own projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, pinpointing root causes and disseminating insights widely.

• Balance hands-on problem-solving with strategic considerations on how to enhance enablement impact throughout the organization.

• Proficient in Python with experience in ML frameworks.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Experience or knowledge in building data pipelines.

• Experience or understanding of model evaluations.

• Expertise in inference optimization and serving infrastructure.

• Background in supporting or closely collaborating with research, data science, or product teams.

• Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills across the entire ML stack.

• Ability to effectively switch contexts among multiple concurrent projects.

• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
