This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Deliver proficient Loss Control Services in line with company policies.
• Oversee a statewide territory within Connecticut.
• Initiate and manage all service account operations.
• Perform surveys and assess commercial risks related to workers' compensation coverage.
• Execute loss control services and provide training for clients.
• Engage in team initiatives to assist in account retention.
• Keep updated specialized knowledge of company manuals, procedures, and pertinent codes.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Over 13 years of experience in loss control with a prominent workers' compensation insurance provider.
• In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation.
• Capability to conduct training programs and classes for clients.
• Fundamental understanding of underwriting and product management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance coverage.
• Acquainted with engineering principles and safety standards.
• Strong preference for industry designations such as ARM, CPCU, etc.
• Proficient in the use of computers and software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Progress towards a professional designation is preferred (CSP, ARM, etc.).
