This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.
• Lead the development, design, scaling, and management of linguistic quality programs.
• Create, enhance, and implement linguistic quality frameworks, policies, and methodologies.
• Provide guidance on linguistic quality standards, industry best practices, audits, and quality assessments.
• Supervise and confirm account-level quality audits.
• Analyze audit findings to uncover trends, systemic risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as the escalation point for intricate linguistic quality challenges.
• Review and validate Corrective Action Reports as well as Client Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Assist in client-facing quality discussions, audits, business reviews, RFPs, test translations, solution design, and client meetings.
• Develop quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and dashboards.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of linguistic QA technologies, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Mentor and coach Localization Quality Managers and Associates.
• Participate in interviews, hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and administrative tasks.
• Create and sustain onboarding programs and training materials.
• Review and assist in memoQ project creation, setup, and configuration.
• Assess and enhance project templates and workflows.
• Define strategies for translation memory management and governance models.
• Establish standards for glossary and terminology management.
• Develop processes for terminology management, style guides, query handling, and asset maintenance.
• Manage third-party reviews, LQA exchanges, and external benchmarking initiatives.
• Approve review methodologies, evaluation criteria, and resource selection.
• Utilize third-party insights to inform vendor management, quality policies, and client advisory discussions.
• Escalate critical findings from third-party reviews or audits.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Localization industry, with substantial linguistic QA experience and CAT tool proficiency.
• A minimum of 3 years in leadership or management roles focused on quality.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives and manage extensive programs.
• Advanced understanding of LQA tools, methodologies, and language asset management.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level clients and managing complex localization programs.
• Capability to drive innovation in quality processes, tools, and automation.
• Strong skills in coaching and mentoring.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills when interacting with clients.
• Ability to think strategically while being hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Experience in leveraging technology to enhance workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert data into strategic actions.
• Creative and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software products.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
