This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• This role involves the processing (packaging and closing) of all SBA and USDA loans.
• Collaborate closely with the SBA Lending Team, legal advisors, third-party vendors, and various internal departments to effectively process, close, and manage SBA relationships while ensuring compliance with SBA loan program standards.
• Offer administrative assistance related to the SBA loan origination and closing process, and lead communication with clients, borrowers, brokers, government entities, and other third parties, exercising discretion and sound judgment.
• Oversee the Commercial Loan Pipeline (CLP) record following the initial entry by the Relationship Manager, tracking and updating the status through each phase of the process.
• Aid in gathering and reviewing necessary application and financial documents to create the SBA Borrower Checklist.
• Responsible for maintaining the SBA Client File in line with the Bank's file folder structure, ensuring all documentation is saved in the correct subfolders using the Bank's defined naming conventions.
• Draft, review, and manage the SBA Borrower Checklist, SBA Forms such as Forms 1919 and 159, Loan Authorizations, ETRAN Terms and Conditions, and Loan Commitment Letters.
• Ensure that loans are closed in accordance with the policies and procedures of both the Bank and the SBA.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing, including at least 2 years in SBA packaging and closing.
• Proficient in reviewing title work and title insurance.
• Experience in evaluating property, liability, and flood insurance policies.
• Familiarity with SBA programs, E-Tran, processing requirements, and the Standard Operating Procedure relevant to job functions.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and processes.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in conversational settings and conflict resolution.
• Proficient in SharePoint and ShareFile.
• Above-average communication skills with a focus on listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to comprehend and apply bank policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, in alignment with SBA’s Standard Operating Procedures and USDA’s Policies and Procedures.
• Capacity to prioritize responsibilities and work autonomously.
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to meet set deadlines while being adaptable to changing assignments.
• Must be a team player and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
