This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a high-volume litigation docket across various jurisdictions and subject matters.
• Monitor case progress, deadlines, budgets, activities of outside counsel, and significant litigation milestones.
• Organize document collection, discovery responses, document productions, and litigation holds.
• Assist in all litigation phases, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Act as the main point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Design, implement, and sustain systems for tracking litigation matters, key metrics, and case outcomes.
• Create reporting dashboards and regular management reports regarding: Case inventory, Matter status, Jurisdictional trends, Outside counsel utilization, Resolution timelines, Settlement and litigation expenditures, and Emerging risk areas.
• Evaluate litigation data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for operational enhancement.
• Produce executive-ready reports and presentations that convert data into actionable insights.
• Utilize technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability within the litigation function.
• Establish and maintain litigation workflows, playbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate the preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
• Manage document repositories, litigation databases, and matter management systems.
• Collaborate closely with outside counsel and vendors on eDiscovery strategy and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• At least 7 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong comprehension of civil litigation procedures, discovery obligations, and litigation support processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms, litigation management systems, and legal technology tools.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI-enabled tools to enhance workflows, analyze data, and boost operational efficiency.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify trends and derive meaningful conclusions from data.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
