Contract-based Business Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote, on-demand assistance for both short-term and long-term legal initiatives for client law firms.

• Engage in corporate and contract review tasks during designated work hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Paralegal with a robust background in corporate and transactional law.

• Significant experience in reviewing, revising, and marking up contracts and business agreements.

• Proficient in evaluating confidentiality agreements (CDAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other commercial contracts.

• Strong legal acumen with the capability to comprehend the content, context, and business ramifications of contractual terms.

• Ability to pinpoint potential legal and business concerns within agreements and raise issues for internal assessment.

• Experience in supporting corporate legal teams, in-house counsel, or transactional attorneys.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in reviewing documents with accuracy and efficiency.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and quickly acclimate to company processes and objectives.
