• Oversee and implement solutions for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) issues with minimal supervision across various jurisdictions, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all Remote employees while prioritizing an exceptional employee experience for both Remote’s clients and employees.
• Act as an internal resource for routine and non-routine OHS inquiries, offering guidance to junior team members.
• Manage relationships and deliverables with current OHS vendors, training partners, and health centers to facilitate all necessary activities.
• Evaluate vendor performance through thorough assessments and ongoing feedback.
• Lead the team's engagement with Remote’s employees by addressing their health assessment and safety training requirements.
• Organize and implement internal audits for Occupational Health and Safety in different countries to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Identify, create, and suggest enhancements to existing Occupational Health and Safety procedures and practices.
• Collaborate with the People and Legal teams to draft and develop Health and Safety policies.
• Act as both an internal and external advocate for Remote's values and the Lifecycle team's objectives.
• Safely manage and safeguard employee data and confidential information, following established protocols while ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and discretion in handling and accessing such data.
• Extensive work experience in a digital environment.
• Operational experience with processes spanning multiple countries.
• Experience in scouting, onboarding, and/or managing vendors and partners.
• Capability to swiftly engage and support external employees and vendors across various countries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to map processes effectively.
• A collaborative team player who works independently and communicates in a proactive and positive manner.
• Possess a growth and problem-solving mindset, able to adapt tasks and priorities efficiently as circumstances change.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; additional language skills will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus.
• While remote work experience is not required, it will be regarded as a bonus.
