This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Creating levels in accordance with design specifications (from greybox/blockout to the final scene).
• Integrating and placing assets (models, props, architecture, natural elements).
• Ensuring gameplay clarity – allowing players to navigate the scene effortlessly.
• Focusing on composition – enhancing visuals, directing the player's attention, and establishing logical pathways.
• Collaborating closely with level designers to merge visuals with gameplay elements.
• Utilizing modular systems for effective environment assembly.
• Conducting tests on levels for playability and stability.
• Adhering to the project's artistic style and guidelines.
• Expertise in 3D software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
• Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Understanding of composition, proportions, balance, and scene clarity.
• Proficient in modeling, optimization, and UV unwrapping.
• Knowledge of material and texture creation (Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop).
• Experience with modular kits and assets for environment construction.
• Familiarity with real-time optimization (LOD, polygon budgets, texture atlases).
• Comprehension of stylization principles in game art.
• B1+ English proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, artistic sensibility, and awareness of style.
• Ability to work collaboratively with concept artists, tech artists, and level designers.
• Effective communication skills and receptiveness to feedback.
• Self-organizational skills and capability to adhere to deadlines.
