Compliance Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Prepare and manage the documentation necessary for acquiring and maintaining B2B gambling licenses in various jurisdictions.

• Perform legal research and track regulatory requirements relevant to the company's operations.

• Assess legal risks and offer practical recommendations for compliance.

• Facilitate communication with licensing authorities, external legal counsel, and international consultants.

• Assist in the licensing processes from initial preparation to ongoing maintenance and regulatory reporting.

• Execute KYC and Due Diligence checks for business partners.

• Gather, review, verify, and maintain KYC documents.

• Keep partners' compliance records updated and monitor the validity of documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to licensing obligations and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of legal experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the iGaming/Gambling sector.

• Demonstrated experience in securing and maintaining B2B gambling licenses.

• Proficient in preparing licensing documentation and liaising with regulatory bodies.

• Experienced in conducting legal research and analyzing regulatory requirements across diverse jurisdictions.

• Practical experience with KYC and Due Diligence procedures.

• Strong understanding of civil, corporate, commercial, intellectual property, international, and banking law.

• Experience negotiating and collaborating with international legal consultants and external advisors.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Knowledge of AML/CTF compliance requirements.

• Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance oversight.

• Prior experience in an international B2B technology or iGaming organization.
