This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conducting research, drafting, and maintaining clear, up-to-date, and practical legal content that aligns with market practices, customer requirements, and business goals.
• Reviewing and refining content created by others, including colleagues and external subject matter experts.
• Staying informed on legal, practice, and market trends to ensure content remains precise, relevant, and in line with business objectives.
• Leveraging your legal knowledge to aid in the development of customer-centric AI-powered legal solutions from Thomson Reuters.
• Applying your legal expertise and editorial capabilities to support the creation and utilization of internal AI editorial tools.
• Ensuring you cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of the legal market, our clientele and their evolving needs, as well as the competitive landscape.
• A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as a corporate lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in a law firm or in-house in Germany.
• Significant experience in German corporate law, particularly in private mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, coupled with a passion for accurately and concisely writing about legal practices in plain English.
• A collaborative approach with the capability to work efficiently both independently and within teams.
• Strong technical proficiency and the ability to effectively employ various tools, including generative AI technologies, to boost productivity and precision.
• Adaptability and flexibility to engage with a variety of projects and tasks within the generative AI domain, as well as emerging technologies.
• A curious mindset regarding the growing intersection of AI and legal practice, demonstrating adaptability and openness to change.
• Experience utilizing AI tools in legal work.
• Strong knowledge of online research databases.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a matrixed environment, with a proven ability to forge strong relationships and collaborate with diverse teams bringing different perspectives and experiences.
