Senior Legal Counsel, Contracts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Developing, executing, and enhancing contract management procedures to improve efficiency.

• Overseeing the review, drafting, and negotiation of intricate, high-value commercial agreements.

• Offering strategic advice and a risk-based evaluation of contractual conditions.

• Assisting cross-functional teams with contract-related issues.

• Partnering on process improvements and the scaling of legal operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B., preferably LL.M.).

• Over 6 years of experience as a Legal Counsel or Senior Counsel.

• Extensive background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts governed by English law.

• Demonstrated experience with legal process enhancement and contract lifecycle management tools.

• Strong knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Preferred: Experience in IT, fintech, or regtech sectors, and knowledge of AML/KYC regulations.
