Senior Legal Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and negotiate various contracts, such as NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Data Processing Agreements, marketing services agreements, and amendments.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to negotiate and finalize contracts that are crucial for OKX's future expansion.

• Implement OKX's standard operating procedures or create new ones to align with OKX's commercial goals while adhering to relevant regulations and effectively managing legal and regulatory risks.

• Keep well-organized records of contracts and various legal documents across different group entities and jurisdictions.

• Work in conjunction with business units and legal team members to design, develop, and execute legal processes, training programs, internal guidelines, and playbooks to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Support special projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; a law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

• Candidates without a law degree but possessing substantial prior experience as a paralegal or legal analyst in a law firm or in-house setting will also be considered.

• Proven capability to independently create and execute various legal processes, policies, and playbooks.

• Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic environment where priorities can change swiftly while ensuring accuracy and sound legal judgment.

• Experience in working across multiple jurisdictions and handling cross-border commercial agreements is a valuable asset.

• Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and sound commercial judgment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management platforms (e.g. Ironclad) and e-signature solutions (e.g. Docusign) is advantageous.
