This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess performance requirements, clarify business objectives, and develop a strategic learning roadmap.
• Propose optimal solutions (learning, support materials, communications, or coaching), considering speed, cost, risk, and impact.
• Provide thought leadership on contemporary learning methodologies (learning, design, coaching, and scalable enablement) and serve as a subject matter expert for the learning partner approach.
• Conduct impactful sessions for new hires and current employees on various topics, adapting delivery methods as necessary.
• Oversee onboarding and induction programs, ensuring a consistent and effective learning experience across different locations and time zones.
• Mentor other facilitators and subject matter experts on best delivery practices to enhance overall facilitation quality.
• Handle key learning programs from start to finish, including defining scope, timelines, communications, stakeholder alignment, and establishing clear success metrics.
• Manage and track learning activities, ensuring they are completed on time and comply with organizational standards; proactively eliminate obstacles and manage dependencies.
• Administer user access within learning platforms and systems; establish standards, templates, and workflows to enhance scalability and consistency.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners as necessary to source, co-create, or deliver solutions; ensure quality and alignment with business needs.
• Develop, curate, and revise learning curricula, programs, materials, job aids, and resources employing adult learning principles and a cohesive style/brand approach.
• Regularly assess and update training content to align with changing business needs, tools, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Influence and engage cross-functional partners to facilitate change adoption, ensuring learning is integrated into rollout strategies and reinforced after launch.
• Advocate for internal learning resources and promote engagement and a robust learning culture through campaigns, toolkits, and manager enablement.
• Assess learning effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics (e.g., adoption, proficiency, quality, productivity), linking learning outcomes to business results where applicable.
• Generate reports and insights to identify trends, guide decision-making, and prioritize enhancements.
• Manage key learning KPIs for designated programs, establish targets with stakeholders, and drive actions to improve outcomes.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, incorporating feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine experience and impact.
• Identify and propose enhanced working methods across learning programs and partnerships.
• Handle training-related communications and inquiries through designated channels, resolving complex learning issues and escalations while enhancing service levels.
• Support organizational initiatives by suggesting on-demand or change-related training; proactively identify capability risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop other Learning Partners and/or facilitators through coaching, peer reviews, and sharing best practices (as an individual contributor, not a people manager).
• Exemplify the company culture and values, serving as a role model for employees.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced certifications in learning & development, facilitation, instructional design, evaluation, coaching, or CIPD-equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in corporate learning & development, enablement, talent development, or a related field, demonstrating a successful record of delivering measurable impact.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional learning programs from inception to completion across regions/time zones, including diagnosis, design, delivery, and evaluation.
• Strong project management and consulting skills, with experience advising senior stakeholders, influencing without authority, and recommending effective performance solutions beyond training.
• Experience in service center operations and/or a multinational shared services environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with change enablement, business/process/tool rollouts, manager reinforcement, adoption measurement, and coaching is advantageous.
• Extensive experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), including reporting, learner administration, and governance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with the capability to create impactful learning materials and narratives.
• Experience in learning analytics, reporting, training process improvement, and large-scale learning governance.
• Familiarity with instructional design/content development tools and Microsoft SharePoint is desirable.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, manage group dynamics, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Capacity to identify learning gaps, adapt delivery methods in real-time, and effectively facilitate virtual, hybrid, and in-person sessions.
• Coaching and feedback skills to support facilitators, SMEs, and Learning Partners are desirable.
• Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, and prioritization abilities, with the capability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in fast-paced, global environments with changing priorities and deadlines.
