Senior Learning Experience Architect – Instructional Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create enterprise-level learning solutions, mentor design teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Oversee the design of Learning Solutions.

• Develop comprehensive learning solutions utilizing Infopro's Intelligent Design Framework (IDF).

• Formulate learning strategies, high-level design documents, storyboards, scripts, content outlines, and design blueprints.

• Produce engaging eLearning, microlearning, simulations, blended learning programs, and performance support solutions.

• Convert complex business requirements into learner-focused experiences.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform knowledge into impactful and actionable learning materials.

• Utilize GenAI tools to expedite content development, curation, personalization, and iteration.

• Conduct learning needs assessments and identify performance gaps.

• Suggest suitable learning methodologies, modalities, and deliverables.

• Facilitate discussions with clients and stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with business goals.

• Establish success metrics and learning outcomes.

• Contribute learning expertise to solution development and proposal efforts.

• Conduct job-task analysis and competency mapping when necessary.

• Provide daily guidance and coaching to a team of instructional designers.

• Review storyboards, scripts, and learning deliverables to maintain quality and consistency.

• Share best practices in instructional design, learning experience design, and stakeholder management.

• Assist in balancing workloads to support successful project execution.

• Keep abreast of emerging learning technologies, AI tools, and industry trends.

• Identify opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness and development efficiency.

• Establish and exemplify best practices for AI-enabled learning design.

• Apply quality standards throughout the learning development lifecycle.

• Support ongoing improvement initiatives within the learning design function.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or learning consulting.

• Proven track record of designing enterprise learning solutions from analysis through to implementation.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and clients.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex learning projects.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading instructional designers.

• Strong business acumen and consultative problem-solving abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, adult learning principles, and contemporary instructional design methodologies.

• Expertise in creating storyboards, scripts, learning architectures, and comprehensive learning solutions.

• Strong learning experience design competencies centered on learner engagement and business outcomes.

• Experience in conducting needs analyses and designing performance-oriented solutions.

• Proficient in Articulate Storyline and/or Rise.

• Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM standards.

• Competent in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

• Experience utilizing GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable platforms for learning design and content development.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in designing simulations or scenario-based learning.

• Knowledge of multimedia learning development and visual design principles.

• Understanding of learning analytics and measurement approaches.

• Experience in change management or performance consulting.

• Advanced certifications in instructional design or learning technologies.

• Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
