Senior Lead, Software Engineering – Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of essential enterprise solutions

• Assist initiatives for clients, including the Arizona Department of Transportation

• Integrate high-volume core platforms with cloud-based applications

• Create resilient and scalable products

• Produce clean backend code and design software components

• Diagnose issues throughout the complete software development lifecycle

• Perform code reviews and establish technical standards

• Guide and mentor fellow engineers

• Convert complex requirements into architectural designs

• Refactor legacy logic for containerized and cloud environments

• Conduct product demonstrations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated software engineering experience in delivering enterprise-scale solutions

• Proficient coding and debugging skills in Java, Python, .NET, or similar languages

• Strong understanding of software development practices, OOP principles, and design patterns

• Practical experience with relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful web services, and JSON/XML

• Solid foundation in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues

• Experience in guiding technical decisions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)

• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP) (preferred)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud-native methodologies (preferred)

• Experience with refactoring legacy systems or cloud modernization projects (preferred)
