Senior Lead, Debit Program Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee extensive programs from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery aligned with strategic goals.

• Create and implement program plans, governance frameworks, and operational structures to achieve business results.

• Foster engagement with executive-level stakeholders and maintain alignment among business, technology, operations, and client teams.

• Provide senior oversight for program execution, managing risks, dependencies, issues, and escalation paths.

• Develop and execute process enhancements that boost efficiency, quality, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

• Analyze intricate financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business decisions.

• Cultivate and sustain trusted client relationships throughout program execution, migration processes, and post-implementation support.

• Ensure compliance with delivery commitments, budgetary controls, regulatory standards, and organizational guidelines.

• Advocate for best practices in program management, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Mentor teams and promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability across cross-functional organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading large, complex programs within financial services or financial technology sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery models.

• Strong background in managing budgets, timelines, scope, risk, and stakeholder expectations across various workstreams.

• Ability to interpret complex financial, operational, and performance data to influence strategic decisions.

• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities at all organizational levels.

• Comprehensive understanding of debit processing, payments, banking operations, or similar financial technology areas.

• Demonstrated success in building trusted client relationships and leading high-profile business transformation initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, professional training, and hands-on experience.

• Experience in leading large client migration, conversion, or transformation projects.

• Program or project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or an equivalent qualification.

• Knowledge of risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience in highly regulated financial services environments.

• Advanced skills in program portfolio management and reporting tools.

• Experience leading geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams.
