This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Technical Lead for Projects - 70%
• Oversees and directs survey operations during the proposal, design, and construction phases of designated projects.
• Provides project management by overseeing the survey scope in accordance with technical contracts, aiding in the development of change orders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Ensures high standards of quality and responsiveness to fulfill both internal and external client needs in line with company standards.
• Supervises survey tasks performed by team members on assigned projects.
• Responsible for reviewing project documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications while taking charge of responsibilities.
• Mentorship and Development of Team – 20%
• Contributes to strategic direction and technical services guidance to help employees meet individual, team, department, and organizational objectives.
• Coaches, trains, and fosters the growth and development of survey personnel.
• Business Development Activities – 10%
• Collaborates with members of the CFS and PTS Business Units and sales teams across the organization to drive revenue growth and expand services for both current and potential clients.
• Aids proposal initiatives by developing resources and reviewing proposals in conjunction with the Proposal Development Team, Project Management group, and other departments.
• Maintains strong relationships with existing clients.
• A PLS license in one or more of the following states—Texas (RPLS), Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or North Dakota—is mandatory.
• Must be analytical, self-driven, and able to perform under pressure while sustaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, the public, and external organizations.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timelines.
• Exceptional presentation and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Shows a high degree of initiative and seeks new opportunities while recognizing the associated risks for the organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) along with additional software expertise relevant to the specialty.
• Must possess permanent authorization to work in the US.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
