Senior Land Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Affix stamps and seals, taking professional accountability for boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys.

• Conduct quality assurance and review all survey outputs generated by field teams and drafters before submission to clients.

• Engage directly with title agents, real estate attorneys, engineers, and developers within the Orlando market.

• Ensure that all work adheres to Florida Statutes Chapter 472 and relevant administrative codes.

• Guide Surveyors in Training (SITs) and junior drafters by reviewing their work and assisting them in their licensure journey.

• Detect and highlight project scope concerns, legal description inconsistencies, or field data issues prior to them escalating into client-related problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license — mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Florida survey legislation and practical experience in boundary, mortgage, and topographic work.

• Proficient in reviewing CAD-generated documents and field notes for precision and completeness.

• Client-facing assurance — able to articulate a legal description inconsistency to an attorney without causing confusion.

• Detail-oriented yet efficient — capable of discerning when a document needs to return to the drafter versus when it is ready for sealing.
