Senior Jira Administrator – Atlassian Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Configure, operate, maintain, and continuously enhance Jira-based solutions.

• Expand and uphold Jira automation functionalities.

• Develop scripts utilizing tools such as ScriptRunner.

• Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows, permission schemes, screens, roles, and user groups.

• Create and oversee dashboards, reports, filters, metrics, and KPIs.

• Engage in Atlassian architecture and solution design.

• Configure and provide support for Jira and Confluence solutions.

• Assist in rollout activities and promote system adoption.

• Analyze and resolve intricate technical and process-related challenges.

• Maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and system modifications.

• Support system maintenance, updates, migrations, and troubleshooting for production.

• Ensure Jira operations are stable, scalable, and high-performing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Jira Administration, preferably with Jira Data Center.

• Familiarity with Jira Cloud.

• Strong understanding of project configuration, workflows, permission schemes, screen setups, and authorization concepts.

• Experience in managing users, roles, and groups.

• Deep knowledge of workflow and business process optimization.

• Experience with Jira automation and scalable process design.

• Agile experience, including methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.

• Practical experience with Jira plugins such as ScriptRunner, SecureFields, IssueMatrix, Rich Filters, Better Excel Exporter, Apwide File Field, and X-ray.

• Experience in integrating Jira with Confluence and other Atlassian tools.

• Proficiency with REST APIs and system integrations.

• Ability to create and customize dashboards, reports, filters, metrics, and KPIs.

• Experience with system updates, data migrations, and troubleshooting in production environments.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with a structured working style.

• Capability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

• Understanding of retail processes, particularly In-&-Out promotion planning, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level.

• Nice to Have:

• German language proficiency at a B2 level.

• Experience with both Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud.

• Background in retail or promotion planning environments.

• Participation in Atlassian architecture design experience.
