This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and uphold RESTful APIs while integrating with both internal and external services.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to modern software engineering best practices.

• Engage in software architecture discussions and influence technical design choices.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.

• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and Frontend Developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Develop and implement unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.

• Take part in CI/CD processes and assist with deployment activities.

• Contribute to frontend development using Angular and TypeScript when necessary.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Java software development.

• Strong expertise in Java 17+

• Significant experience with Spring Boot.

• Deep understanding of REST APIs.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Solid grasp of software architecture and design patterns.

• Strong comprehension of clean code principles and software engineering best practices.

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing.

• Proficient in using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern software development workflows.

• Practical experience with Angular and TypeScript.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
