This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with Sonatype products and solutions.

• Reproduce defects and document actionable concerns for the product engineering team.

• Simulate customer deployment environments for testing purposes (including Docker, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and more).

• Advocate for Technical Support and customer interests during discussions with Engineering and Product Management.

• Support product management in creating and prioritizing enhancement lists.

• Summarize, communicate, and escalate customer experiences to management effectively.

• Contribute to and maintain our Knowledge Base resources.

• Assist in developing our diagnostic tools and utilities, as well as creating new ones.

• Address customer inquiries through support cases, email, chat, and phone.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in supporting complex enterprise software solutions.

• Proficient in reading and understanding Java code is essential.

• Experience with Rest APIs is required.

• Background in testing and/or developing production-quality Java-based web applications.

• Strong familiarity with Linux command line tools.

• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL is a plus).

• Knowledge of networking concepts (Sockets, HTTP, proxies/firewalls, TLS/SSL).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript, etc.).

• Experience with major cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with one or more application servers (e.g., Jetty, Apache, NGINX, etc.).

• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong proficiency in English.
