Senior Java Engineer – Java, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable web applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.

• Architect and implement solutions based on microservices.

• Take ownership of REST API design and backend services.

• Deploy and oversee containerized applications within Kubernetes.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure dependable production deployments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

• Proven experience in developing microservices and REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases.

• Significant experience with Angular and TypeScript.

• Experience in creating modular, responsive UI components.

• Understanding of state management and API integration.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) in production settings.

• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity or similar).

• Proficient in creating and maintaining Helm charts.

• Basic scripting abilities (Bash).

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong skills in debugging and providing production support.

• Comfortable working in Agile environments.

• Nice to Have: Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Understanding of Kubernetes networking (Ingress, NGINX).

• Experience with Go.
