Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices utilizing Java (11/17+) along with Spring Boot.

• Implement and uphold REST APIs, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) to guarantee code quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with SQL and NoSQL databases to model and enhance data persistence.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Utilize Gradle for build automation and dependency management.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud environments.

• Engage in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java (11 or 17+) and Spring Boot.

• Practical experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.

• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience using Gradle as a build tool.

• Acquainted with AWS services.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Dynatrace and Kibana for monitoring and logging.

• Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Experience with SonarQ for code quality assessment.

• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
