Senior Java Developer – Support, Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Promptly respond to and resolve tickets to minimize operational disruptions.

• Access and manage databases for queries, execute scripts, and troubleshoot issues.

• Unblock and oversee process queues effectively.

• Analyze source code to identify problems and address root causes.

• Automate workflows and resolve tickets to enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide support for systems built using Java, Node.js, and Python.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous service delivery.

• Maintain and enhance monitoring and support scripts.

• Diagnose and rectify issues in resilient, high-throughput systems that use asynchronous processing and handle high concurrency.

• Suggest solutions to improve computing costs and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Level 3 (L3) support or a related position.

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, and Kotlin.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other similar cloud services.

• Knowledge of BigQuery, Spanner, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.

• Advanced understanding of cloud computing, architecture, and optimization.

• Experience handling large data sets.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.

• Skills in SQL database manipulation and querying.

• Experience with technologies such as Redis, Grafana, and Airflow.

• Ability to execute scripts and automate various processes.

• Competence in reading and analyzing code.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, organized, and focused on achieving results and efficiency.

• Preferred: Experience within financial market infrastructure.

• Preferred: Capability to work in agile and collaborative settings.
