Senior Java Developer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development, maintenance, and testing of APIs.

• Design and upkeep of microservices architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks and the AWS cloud.

• Utilize AI tools during development processes.

• Engage with microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.

• Employ Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.

• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/Kafka, SQS, EventBridge, and EKS.

• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor systems and ensure observability.

• Participate in projects and collaborate within teams following agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience required.

• Advanced proficiency in Java.

• Familiarity with AI tools in development.

• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and REST API development.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.

• Proficiency in AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/Kafka, SQS, EventBridge, and EKS.

• Familiarity with databases including RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, and ArgoCD.

• Understanding of observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Instana, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.

• Proven track record in projects and teams utilizing agile practices.

• AWS Practitioner and AWS Developer certifications are preferred.

• Proficiency in Python is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
