Senior Java Developer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and test APIs.

• Create and uphold microservices architecture.

• Collaborate using Java frameworks and AWS cloud services.

• Engage with AI development tools.

• Work with distributed systems and RESTful APIs.

• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker technologies.

• Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/Kafka, SQS, EventBridge, and EKS.

• Handle databases including RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, and ArgoCD.

• Establish observability with tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic, Instana, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.

• Participate in projects and teams that adopt agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in Java and AWS.

• Proficient in advanced Java programming.

• Familiarity with AI development tools.

• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes and Docker.

• Expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/Kafka, SQS, EventBridge, and EKS.

• Experience with databases such as RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

• Proficient in CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, and ArgoCD.

• Knowledge in observability tools: Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic, Instana, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.

• Demonstrated experience in agile project environments.

• AWS Practitioner and AWS Developer certifications are a plus.

• Proficiency in Python is advantageous.

• Strong ability to collaborate within a team setting.
