Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain IVR applications in accordance with business and technical specifications.

• Integrate IVR solutions with essential internal services.

• Monitor IVR systems and implement operational enhancements to improve customer experience.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within the voice contact center and IVR environments.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality solution delivery.

• Work autonomously while supporting a regional business unit that aligns with global objectives.

• Engage in forward-thinking initiatives to enhance call steering and IVR architecture.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on Java.

• Proficient Java programming skills in Java EE and Spring Boot / Spring Core.

• Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns.

• Experience with SQL for application configuration and data-driven logic.

• Practical experience in designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platform engineering, preferably AWS.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including the investigation of production issues.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
