Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions utilizing Java 8+ and contemporary frameworks.

• Execute evolutionary and corrective maintenance on both legacy systems and new products.

• Ensure code quality by conducting unit tests, code reviews, and utilizing continuous integration practices.

• Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs while integrating systems with external platforms.

• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other technical teams in an agile setting (Scrum/Kanban).

• Assist in technical decision-making and suggest enhancements related to performance, security, and architecture.

• Contribute to promoting development best practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a diploma recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC).

• Proven experience in Java systems development.

• Proficiency in Java 8 or higher.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate.

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular 6+.

• Understanding of Bootstrap.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.

• Proficiency in JUnit for unit testing.

• Experience with legacy technologies such as JSF, PrimeFaces, CDI, and EJB 3.x.

• Experience with authentication methods via LDAP/Active Directory.

• Proficient in version control using Git and building with Maven.

• Experience with SQL Server, including modeling, advanced queries, and optimization.

• Familiarity with application servers like JBoss/WildFly.

• Proficient with tools such as Postman, debuggers, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, GitLab CI/CD).

• Familiarity with methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.

• Desired: knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

• Experience in corporate environments with multiple integrations and high transactional volumes.
