Senior Java Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• You will create and execute APIs, databases, and backend services utilizing Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Kafka, Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Develop responsive and intuitive web interfaces employing Angular and TypeScript.

• Automate deployment processes and testing pipelines with CI/CD tools such as Gradle, GitLab, and Open Shift.

• Actively engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Forge professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of proposed solutions.

• Lead technical design discussions and critically assess requirements when necessary.

• Suggest architectural enhancements focusing on modularity, scalability, performance, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field.

• You have over 5 years of practical experience in backend and full stack development (Java and Spring Boot).

• Demonstrated experience in creating scalable web applications using Angular or React and TypeScript.

• Strong proficiency in cloud-native development, with hands-on experience in AWS and/or Azure.

• Strong foundation in containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

• You exhibit a strong customer-oriented mindset.

• Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in business English and German are essential.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, AI-based code analysis, test generation, or documentation support) is an advantage.
