Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement intricate computerized systems by outlining system requirements and functionalities.

• Execute the finalization of software releases and prepare them for deployment.

• Create features and code modules within the systems.

• Establish and uphold unit tests for the developed code.

• Conduct software maintenance tasks.

• Assume responsibility for the operation of the system.

• Engage in methodology meetings.

• Address inquiries regarding system operations.

• Ensure that the developed product aligns with specifications set by both the client and the company.

• Review code contributions and recommend improvements to fellow developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related discipline.

• Strong communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Developer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Java EE.

• Experience with AWS Cloud Computing.

• Familiarity with Spring framework.

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

• Experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.

• Background in test automation methodologies (e.g., Selenium and Cucumber).

• Expertise in ReactJS.

• Proficient in Linux operating systems.

• Experience in software development for the financial sector.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Competence in Node.js.
