Senior Java Back End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services for analytics, dashboards, and reporting

• Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, reliability, and performance

• Engage in architectural decision-making and document technical specifications

• Work closely with Product and Design teams to implement high-impact features

• Apply testing and monitoring practices to ensure stability in production environments

• Guide and mentor engineers while enhancing backend development methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering

• Strong expertise in Java and object-oriented programming

• Proficient in English at an advanced level

• Experience in designing scalable backend services, APIs, and data models

• Proven track record of working in product teams to deliver features for external users

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes, and contemporary development workflows

• Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure is a plus

• Knowledge of Python or Airflow is considered advantageous

• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

• Frontend experience with React or TypeScript is an additional asset

• Familiarity with GraphQL, Terraform, or Temporal is beneficial
