Fullstack Engineer, Java, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development of solutions by clarifying requirements and defining the technical framework leading to implementation.

• Design and manage cloud-native, serverless, and scalable applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus) and AWS.

• Assume complete ownership for services, covering development, operations, and quality assurance.

• Implement Test-Driven Development practices to ensure clean, maintainable, secure, and reliably scalable code.

• Acquaint yourself with existing architectures and consistently manage and enhance products related to property valuation, expert appraisals, and the digital retrieval of documents.

• Assist in frontend development using Angular and TypeScript as necessary.

• Leverage AI to aid in coding or testing while maintaining accountability for quality and architecture.

• Proven experience in fullstack development with Java.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS).

• Commitment to a test-driven approach, Clean Code principles, and a focus on security, maintainability, and thorough documentation.

• Willingness to take charge of code as well as making technical and functional decisions within the team.

• Ability to self-organize, demonstrate initiative, and a strong motivation to advance projects.

• A curious mindset, eagerness to learn, and a dedication to continuous personal development.

• Proficiency in the German language, as it is the primary language of the team.

• Experience with Angular or Quarkus is advantageous, though not mandatory.
