Senior Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Assess, discuss, and establish system architectures while suggesting enhancements.

• Convert business needs into architectures and systems, incorporating them into existing platforms or recommending new modules.

• Design and execute solutions for the microservices ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Proven experience in software development and providing technical leadership or oversight for teams.

• Proficiency in developing systems using the Java programming language.

• Experience in Unix and Linux environments.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Knowledge of asynchronous communication technologies such as RabbitMQ, JMS, Kafka, SQS, and SNS.

• Experience with microservices, including DevOps practices and Docker.

• Background in relational databases.

• Experience with Spring (Core, Boot, Cloud, Data, etc.).

• Familiarity with test development tools and best practices related to software quality and performance.

• Experience in code refactoring, observability tools and practices, and system monitoring.

• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

• Knowledge of concurrent programming and debugging techniques for concurrent code.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and the Jenkins platform.

• Knowledge of security practices and tools.

• Desired: Experience with agile methodologies.

• Understanding of AWS.

• Experience in developing systems using the Kotlin programming language.
