Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Takes charge of multiple large-scale and intricate projects that demand significant functional integration and management of procedural changes.

• Leads extensive cross-functional project teams composed of both business and technical professionals.

• Provides consultative support to establish suitable personnel, processes, and tools that promote effective project management and success.

• Manages projects that present complex business and technical challenges.

• Resolves escalated issues that require deep technical knowledge and business insight to ensure minimal disruption to both the project and the organization.

• Identifies and orchestrates the sharing of leveraged resources across various projects.

• Defines, implements, and advises on project management standards and processes applicable to relevant teams or projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or with governmental clients.

• Proven ability to deliver complex technology projects on schedule and within budget constraints.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications being highly desirable.

• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and compliance regulations.

• Exceptional communication abilities for engaging both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.

• Eligibility for any necessary authorizations from the U.S. Government.
