Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversees intricate projects that frequently involve cross-functional teams and matrix partners.

• Manages a diverse range of projects, such as launching new products and services, developing applications, integrating systems, enhancing operational efficiency, reengineering processes, and upgrading infrastructure and deployments.

• Formulates and supervises financial forecasts while continuously reconciling resources and other associated project expenses.

• Leads an ongoing risk and issues management process to identify and evaluate potential risks and issues.

• Directly oversees every aspect of the project lifecycle and collaborates within a matrixed organization to manage all project phases.

• Determines the most effective mode of communication for each situation, ensuring that communication is timely, concise, and tailored to the appropriate audience.

• Defines and monitors project milestones; develops, maintains, and reports on a comprehensive integrated delivery plan.

• Establishes and directs cross-functional strategic initiatives, including enterprise-wide projects.

• Facilitates conflict resolution among key stakeholders, project team members, and sponsors through interest-based negotiation.

• Produces relevant project artifacts.

• Mentors colleagues to influence and build strategic relationships; actively pursues the development and growth of others.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, with a strong preference for healthcare experience.

• Proven experience in establishing and delivering complex projects.

• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

• Strongly preferred Agile Project Management and Scrum Certification.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong and positive relationships, quickly gaining the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders.

• Proven capability to effectively navigate within a highly matrixed organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

• Displays strong influencing and negotiation skills.

• Demonstrated core project management skills, including knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

• A focused and adaptable team player who thrives under pressure.

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
