Senior IT Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the network workstream in site deployments and infrastructure initiatives, primarily within the US region.

• Collect and interpret business and operational requirements into actionable network designs.

• Create both high-level and detailed LAN designs.

• Formulate implementation strategies and coordinate infrastructure installation efforts.

• Execute network deployments both remotely and on-site.

• Verify completed deployments against predefined design standards.

• Design and implement LAN/WLAN solutions predominantly using UniFi (Ubiquiti) and CATO technologies.

• Work together with internal and external partners on wireless deployments for warehouses and corporate environments.

• Document customer network access needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering.

• CCNP certification is mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly in LAN and wireless technologies.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing LAN environments.

• In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience with wireless deployments, preferably in warehouse or multi-site settings.

• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and NTP.

• Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues.

• Familiarity with tools such as Syslog and Wireshark.

• Experience in managing and maintaining firewall rulesets.

• Extensive knowledge of SNMP and other network monitoring protocols.

• Proven track record in managing site go-lives.
