Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee corporate storage environments, including SAN, NAS, and mission-critical storage systems.

• Manage the creation, expansion, and migration of volumes, LUNs, and file systems.

• Configure Fibre Channel switches, implement zoning, multipathing, and high-availability policies.

• Develop and execute local and remote replication strategies to maintain service continuity.

• Monitor IOPS, latency, throughput, capacity usage, and growth trends.

• Plan storage capacity in alignment with system growth and business needs.

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting for storage-related incidents, including SAN connectivity, volume availability, and data access issues.

• Perform periodic failover, disaster recovery, and data restoration tests.

• Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of stored data.

• Lead projects focused on technology renewal, migration, and modernization of storage platforms.

• Establish standards and best practices for storage resources across physical, virtualized, and cloud environments.

• Collaborate with virtualization, database, server, and application teams to address storage performance and availability requirements.

• Administer critical storage environments, spearhead expansion and modernization projects, implement data protection strategies, and resolve complex incidents.

• Work with cross-functional technology teams on strategic infrastructure evolution initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering and supporting corporate storage environments from vendors such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, Hitachi Vantara, or Pure Storage.

• In-depth knowledge of SAN architectures, Fibre Channel switches, zoning, multipathing, LUN masking, and volume provisioning.

• Familiarity with NAS environments and protocols such as NFS and SMB/CIFS, including share management, permissions, quotas, and performance tuning.

• Understanding of All-Flash, Hybrid, and Object Storage, along with tiering and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience with both synchronous and asynchronous replication between storage systems.

• Background in data migration, storage consolidation, and capacity expansion in critical environments.

• Knowledge of deduplication, compression, thin provisioning, snapshots, clones, and data protection strategies.

• Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing metrics such as latency, throughput, IOPS, and resource utilization.

• Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions applicable to physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

• Experience in automation through PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.

• Familiarity with Dell PowerStore, PowerMax, Unity, Isilon/PowerScale, NetApp ONTAP, IBM FlashSystem, HPE Primera/3PAR, and Pure Storage.

• Understanding of Storage Virtualization, Storage as Code, and integration with Kubernetes.

• Experience with ransomware protection, cyber recovery, and immutable backup solutions.

• Proven experience operating environments exceeding 500 TB with 24/7 high-availability requirements.

• Knowledge of RPO, RTO, SLA, and service availability concepts.

• Preferred certifications include: Dell EMC Proven Professional, NCDA, VMCE, CCP, VCS, IBM Spectrum Protect, Hitachi Vantara Qualified Professional, VCP, NCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, and ITIL Foundation.
