Senior IT Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management and development of an application ecosystem that caters to a diverse array of Business Lines, addressing various markets with distinct business models.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to gain insights into business operations and strategies, enabling the formulation of problem statements or the articulation of new application requirements with appropriate justification.

• Document the representation of the applications and systems landscape.

• Analyze the dependencies within the application landscape, including technical and functional aspects, application interfaces, and program/roadmap considerations.

• Assess the capabilities, limitations, and risks associated with the current applications landscape utilized by the business line.

• Identify synergies or opportunities by evaluating scenarios such as repurposing application assets or implementing innovations across various business lines.

• Develop recommendations to address limitations or foster synergies by guiding the preparation of the application roadmap.

• Assist in formalizing the scope, drivers, and justification of business requirements for application development investment requests.

• Support Solution Architects in shaping solution designs and making application architecture design decisions that align with business imperatives once investments are approved.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.

• TOGAF Certification is advantageous.

• Extensive functional knowledge across multiple enterprise functions (sales, production, laboratory, digital, etc.) relevant to industries connected to Eurofins markets and customers.

• Demonstrated success in a growth-focused business environment.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Assessment and Management methodologies such as TOGAF (certification is a plus).

• Knowledge in the preparation of Enterprise Process, Information, Application, and Technology Blueprints.

• Experience with the development, governance, and management of Enterprise Architecture blueprints.

• Ability to comprehend business strategies, operations, and technological trends.

• Skills in Business Analysis (encompassing business requirements, functional requirements, and value engineering).

• Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture modeling.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex business and technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong written communication skills tailored to a leadership audience (CxO and VP level).

• High tolerance and resilience to volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity; VUCA should not be an excuse for failing to deliver.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focused on achieving business outcomes through effective architecture while remaining detail-oriented.

• A collaborative team player who engages others, builds trust with colleagues, shares knowledge, and seeks opportunities for cross-functional collaboration.

• Proven capability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decision-makers.
