Senior IT Business Analyst – AI enabled

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Establish a connection between the client and the development team

• Analyze and manage requirements

• Define the product backlog and articulate user stories

• Conduct gap analysis

• Comprehend the business objectives

• Explore and outline end-to-end process flows, including pinpointing opportunities for AI enhancement

• Take responsibility for achieving business objectives

• Lead backlog refinement sessions and engage in sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives

• Assist in the testing process by offering guidance to QA team members

• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients

• Promote agile and lean best practices with a focus on continuous development

• Convert client business challenges into AI-addressable solutions and aid in feasibility assessments for AI components

• Contribute to presales discussions with insights on AI solution scoping and effort estimation

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Proficiency in English is a requirement for this position

• Proven success in collaborating with development teams to deliver custom software solutions

• Capability to quickly and efficiently grasp new business domains

• Skill in identifying conflicts and/or gaps in requirements

• Ability to prioritize backlog items based on technical dependencies and business advantages

• Experience in modeling business processes using various tools and techniques

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Experience with issue management tools such as Jira, Redmine, and VersionOne

• Familiarity with online team management and conducting meetings

• Experience collaborating with both international and domestic clients

• Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations — ability to evaluate AI feasibility and set realistic expectations with stakeholders

• Knowledge of prompt engineering principles and LLM interaction patterns

• Conceptual grasp of AI agent workflows, RAG architectures, and retrieval/embedding strategies

• Awareness of leading AI platforms and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) and workflow automation tools

• A self-directed learning approach to remain updated with rapidly changing AI tools, models, and techniques, and apply that knowledge to client projects
