Senior IT Architect – Enterprise Applications, Clinical Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the cloud-native integration architecture across Ontada products and partner ecosystems.

• Take ownership of solution and platform architecture for API-driven connectivity and secure data exchange.

• Assess solution alternatives and align with stakeholders.

• Offer technical mentorship to guide engineers and architects.

• Work in collaboration with security and platform teams to ensure secure integration methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering.

• More than 4 years of experience in architecture (solution, platform, or enterprise).

• Proficient in enterprise integration architecture skills involving REST APIs, event-driven messaging, and secure data exchange patterns.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR).

• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native architecture on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience in designing and managing large-scale, multi-tenant services.

• Capability to drive cross-functional technical decisions and communicate effectively.

• Preferred: familiarity with HL7/FHIR and/or a commitment to rapid learning.
