Senior IT Application Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You serve as the primary point of contact for business applications within your scope of responsibility, providing guidance to our business units on their utilization and further enhancement.

• You assess business requirements and processes, identifying suitable software solutions while considering our existing system landscape.

• You oversee external service providers and software vendors, acting as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.

• You assist in the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing development of new applications, including matters related to contracts and licensing.

• You are accountable for the complete lifecycle of your applications — from selection and implementation to continuous improvement.

• You contribute to the advancement of our application portfolio, fostering the standardization, harmonization, and integration of our application landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.

• You have a minimum of three years of professional experience in application management or a related role.

• You have experience in the selection, implementation, and support of standard software solutions, ideally including license management.

• You demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by contemporary business applications.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, interfaces, and integration scenarios is advantageous.

• You exhibit a structured, independent working style along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• You possess proficient written and spoken skills in both German and English.
